The Little Peasant

This story follows a poor peasant and his wife who, lacking a real cow, craft a wooden calf and take it to the pasture. When the cowherd returns without the calf, they discover it has been stolen and proceed to take him to court. The judge ultimately orders the cowherd to pay them a cow, leading to a series of events rooted in their resourcefulness and the consequences of their actions.
