Alek Fitz is a skilled reaper working in Cleveland, Ohio, who handles supernatural debt collection and problem-solving for diverse clients such as vampires, demons, and otherworldly entities. When tasked by Death to track down a thief, Alek gets entangled in a dangerous conflict involving undead, supernatural bureaucracy, and an emerging imp war. With limited leads and time running out, he teams up with his ancient djinn friend Maggie to recover a stolen item and prevent catastrophe, navigating a challenging and perilous supernatural world.
