Mr. Pakool's Spice

Set amidst the harsh winter of a post-apocalyptic Oregon, a father and his two young children struggle to survive against the threats of hunger, cold, and a relentless horde of zombies known as PUDS. Their journey becomes even more tense when they encounter a mysterious man with a strange hat who offers both help and unease, raising questions about trust and danger. The story explores their desperate quest for safety and the unknown forces that may be stalking them. Included is an additional short story, "The Regent's Daughter," which has won its own share of recognition.
