In the aftermath of the global event known as the Cataclysm, society struggles to adapt as electronic technology is largely halted, and a new threat emerges in the form of terrifying creatures called the Turned. Despite these dangers, humanity persists, with individuals like college student Joanna Westenra trying to hold onto their former lives amid the chaos. As the world changes around her, Joanna begins to experience sights unlike any others, setting her on a path toward an uncertain destiny.
