This novel weaves together the stories of Abel Haggard, an elderly man haunted by memories on a family farm, and Seth Waller, a teenage boy investigating his mother's early-onset Alzheimer's. Unbeknownst to each other, their lives are connected through a shared legacy of memory loss and a fantastical story of Isidora—an imagined land free from the burden of remembrance. Combining myth, science, and storytelling, the book explores themes of loss, memory, and the true value of what we hold dear.
