The Narrow Gate

After the fall of the tech era, the world outside the massive Gate is a desolate and dangerous place, where Mathew, a newly turned Stray, faces life-threatening challenges and the threat of enslavement. As he escapes into the wilderness and encounters a fellow Stray with her own motives, he must navigate both hostile creatures and the wrath of the Sovereign's enforcers.
