Lieutenant Mike Nicholson commands the submarine Ursa out of Malta, working to disrupt war supplies to Rommel’s Afrika Korps. Despite its limitations, Ursa achieves success on its 17th voyage, sinking a German tank-transporter and earning Mike top honors among his peers.
