Surf and Sand

Set in the summer of 1959, this story follows young Mary Nell as she becomes intrigued by a mysterious event that took place at her beachside hotel, where she now lives with her family. Along the way, she uncovers secrets about the ocean, her mother's past, and her own understanding of love and friendship. When her brother’s girlfriend disappears under suspicious circumstances, a detective reenters her life, prompting Nell to help unravel both mysteries. The novel was originally published in 2019 and was thoroughly revised in 2023.
