In this middle-grade adventure, two boys find themselves entangled in a perilous quest involving a mysterious old book, dark secrets, and angry demons. When Walter, a recently deceased student, becomes a Guardian Agent, he teams up with his paranormally obsessed friend, Charlie, to prevent a dangerous gateway from unleashing chaos on Earth. With unusual enemies, bullies, and suspicions from their families, the boys must navigate a world of supernatural threats to protect humankind.
