Inspired by Bavarian folklore, Season of Fear is a dark feminist fairytale that intertwines a seductive lesbian romance with themes of self-acceptance and gender inequality. Set in the village of Heulensee, the story follows Ilse Odenwald, an outsider born without the ability to feel fear, as she ventures into the terrifying Hexenwald to find her true courage and protect her sister.
