Christine Stringer is a Vancouver-based Canadian screenwriter and novelist with a BFA in theatre and English from the University of Victoria. A former MGM assistant who was investigated by the FBI after a film piracy incident involving a movie starring The Rock, she draws on her film-industry experiences, love life, and personal mishaps in her writing. Her debut novel, Charity Trickett Is Not So Glamorous, is a humorous behind-the-scenes story about a young woman pursuing a career in 1990s Hollywood.
