AJ Pearce is a British author born in Hampshire who studied American History at the University of Sussex and Northwestern University. Her debut novel, Dear Mrs Bird, was published in 2018, became a Sunday Times bestseller, and was shortlisted for the British Book Awards Debut of the Year and the Historical Writers’ Association Debut Crown. She followed it with Yours Cheerfully, Mrs Porter Calling, and Dear Miss Lake, completing The Emmy Lake Chronicles, a series set in wartime Britain.
