Allison Moorer is an Alabama-born author and singer-songwriter who holds an MFA in creative writing from The New School. Her writing has appeared in publications including American Songwriter, Guernica, No Depression, and The Bitter Southerner. She is the author of the memoirs Blood and I Dream He Talks to Me, both known for their lyrical, candid explorations of family, trauma, parenthood, and resilience.
