Kim DeLozier is a Tennessee wildlife biologist and author who spent more than three decades managing wildlife at Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He coauthored Bear in the Back Seat and Bear in the Back Seat, Book 2 with Carolyn Jourdan, memoirs drawn from his experiences working with bears, wild hogs, elk, and other wildlife. He later continued his conservation work with Appalachian Bear Rescue and elk-restoration efforts.
