Joseph Howse is a Canadian writer who publishes literary fiction, poetry, and technical books on computer programming and image analysis. His novels The Girl in the Water and The Circus and the Atom begin the multigenerational Next Year’s Snow saga, set amid the Soviet and post-Soviet world. He lives in a fishing village in Nova Scotia and has also published fiction and poetry in literary journals and anthologies.
