Christopher Amato is a former federal agent who began writing after retiring from law enforcement. He first published crime thrillers, including Shadow Investigation and Peace River Village, drawing on his professional experience. His work also includes the short-story collection An Author’s Dozen and the historical family saga Leaving Marinella, inspired by his grandfather’s immigration from Sicily to America.
