Ian Caldwell is an American novelist and the author of the New York Times bestsellers The Fifth Gospel and The Rule of Four, which he co-wrote with Dustin Thomason. The Rule of Four was published in 2004 and became an international bestseller, while The Fifth Gospel followed in 2015 after nearly a decade of research and writing. Caldwell lives in Virginia with his wife and children.
