Ryan Stradal is a Minnesota-born author of contemporary literary fiction whose novels include the New York Times bestseller Kitchens of the Great Midwest and the national bestsellers The Lager Queen of Minnesota and Saturday Night at the Lakeside Supper Club. His writing has appeared in publications including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Granta, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. He previously worked as a television producer and currently lives in California.
