Stephanie Evanovich is an American full-time writer who began writing fiction while waiting for cues during community theater productions. After studying at the New York School of Film and Television and working with improvisational troupes and in small-budget films, she turned to novels. She is best known for contemporary romantic comedies including Big Girl Panties, The Sweet Spot, The Total Package, and Under the Table.
