David E. Johnson is an emeritus professor of psychology, former president of the Society for the Teaching of Psychology, and a fellow of the American Psychological Association. He has authored and edited numerous psychology education books and articles, and co-authored Midwatch in Verse and The Watch Stands as Written, nonfiction works exploring the U.S. Navy tradition of writing New Year’s deck logs in verse. He lives in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
