David Javerbaum is an American comedy writer, playwright, lyricist, and producer best known as a former head writer and executive producer of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. He coauthored the satirical bestsellers America (The Book) and Earth (The Book), and wrote books including What to Expect When You’re Expected and The Last Testament: A Memoir by God. His stage work includes the Broadway comedy An Act of God and the Tony-nominated musical Cry-Baby.
