Annie Cathryn is a Chicago-area author of contemporary women's fiction. Her debut novel, The Friendship Breakup, was published in 2023 and received multiple honors, including the Best Midwest Regional Fiction IPPY Award; her second novel, Eat the Cake, followed in 2026. She is also a book influencer and host of the Soulful Series author podcast, and previously worked in marketing communications and public relations.
