Reeta Chakrabarti is a British journalist and BBC broadcaster who began her career with the BBC in 1992. She became a novelist with Finding Belle, a 2025 literary family saga about migration, mental health, cultural identity and the bond between mothers and daughters. Her second novel, An Impossible Woman, forthcoming in 2027, is a fictionalized account of Indian artist Amrita Sher-Gil.
