J. V. Simms is a full-time fantasy author and a lifelong fan of fantasy, comedy, and animation. After working a variety of jobs, including as a line cook, road construction worker, and afterschool counselor, Simms began writing stories about distinctive characters and perspectives. Simms is the author of the Empress trilogy, including Seize the Day, By the Sword, and Divine Right: A World Conquest Isekai.
