M.R.C. Kasasian is an Anglo-Armenian Irish former dentist who began his fiction career with The Mangle Street Murders, launching the five-book Gower Street Detective series of witty Victorian mysteries. He later wrote the World War II crime series Betty Church Mysteries and the Victorian Violet Thorn Mysteries. He divides his time between Suffolk, England, and Malta.
