Consuelo Saah Baehr is an author born in El Salvador to French and Palestinian parents. She drew on her family’s history under Ottoman and British rule for Three Daughters, a multigenerational novel about Palestinian Christian women, and later published Fortune’s Daughters, another historical novel. She lives in East Hampton, New York, and has also written about everyday life on her blog, The Repurposed Writer.
