Martin Sixsmith is a British author, journalist, presenter, and former BBC foreign correspondent who reported from Moscow, Washington, Brussels, and Warsaw. He writes both fiction, including the political novels Spin and I Heard Lenin Laugh, and nonfiction focused on history, politics, Russia, the Cold War, and biography, including Philomena, The War of Nerves, and The Litvinenko File. Philomena was adapted into the Oscar-nominated film starring Judi Dench and Steve Coogan.
