Lois Murphy is an Australian writer of award-winning short stories and literary horror. Her debut novel, Soon, grew from her travels through remote Australian towns and was largely written while she was living in a caravan park in Carnarvon. She has won the Northern Territory Literary Award and the Sisters in Crime Best New Talent Prize.
