Roman Romanovich began his writing career when his first book, The Game, became a commercial success. After later books failed to match its popularity, he paused writing to pursue education and work as a psychologist. He eventually returned to fiction with more complex characters and elaborate stories, and has since written more than seventy books, including The Alchemist and The Healer series.
