Robin Hanson is an American economist, researcher, and nonfiction author whose writing explores economics, human behavior, prediction markets, and long-term technological change. He wrote The Age of Em: Work, Love, and Life When Robots Rule the Earth and co-authored The Elephant in the Brain: Hidden Motives in Everyday Life with Kevin Simler. Hanson also writes extensively through his OvercomingBias blog and academic publications.
