Raised in southeastern Ohio, he now lives in West Virginia, where his writing blends humor, wilderness, Appalachian life, and occasional supernatural elements. His debut book, Tales of the Beechy Hollow Great Outdoors Club, is a collection of humorous stories about a fictional outdoors club.
