She writes the Deputy Donut Mystery series, featuring culinary-themed amateur sleuth Emily Westhill, and previously wrote the craft-themed Threadville Mystery series as Janet Bolin. Her writing career also includes short stories and humorous essays, more than 40 of which have been broadcast on Canadian CBC radio programs.
