Jeff Bodell is a Marine combat veteran, firearms professional, and author from West Virginia. He began his writing career with The Warfighter’s Lounge: A Marine’s Experience of Combat in Marjah, Afghanistan, a firsthand combat memoir drawn from his service in Afghanistan. He later moved into military science fiction, writing grounded stories about Marines, combat, and ordinary people facing extraordinary wars, including The Helmand Province Incident.
