K.L. Hester is a Utah-based author who grew up just outside Salt Lake City, where the surrounding mountains fueled her imagination. She debuted with Wounds of Ash, the first novel in her Vendi Chronicles, followed by Oaths of Shadow and Secrets of Starlight. Her writing blends romance, magic, adventure, and suspense, and she draws inspiration from reading, board games, and tabletop role-playing games.
