Richard P. Feynman (1918–1988) was an American Nobel Prize–winning physicist and an influential science writer. He wrote and coauthored accessible physics textbooks and lecture-based works, including The Feynman Lectures on Physics and QED, and became widely known for his autobiographical memoirs Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman! and What Do You Care What Other People Think? His writing combined rigorous scientific explanation with humor, personal anecdotes, and reflections on science and society.
