Robert N. Charrette is an American author, game designer, graphic artist, and sculptor who began publishing fiction in the late 1980s. He wrote influential tie-in novels for the BattleTech and Shadowrun universes, including Heir to the Dragon and the Shadowrun Secrets of Power trilogy, and later published original fantasy and science-fiction series. He also co-designed the Shadowrun role-playing game and has written under the pseudonym Richard Fawkes.
