Ada Moncrieff was born in London and studied English at Cambridge University. Before becoming a novelist, she worked in theatre, publishing and teaching, and has lived in Madrid and Paris. Her debut, Murder Most Festive, launched her Christmas Mystery series, followed by Murder at the Theatre Royale, Murder at Maybridge Castle, Murder at Midwinter and Murder on the Midnight Star; she lives and works in London.
