Zach Fortier is an author whose writing draws heavily on more than 30 years in law enforcement, including work in K-9, SWAT, gang investigations, domestic violence, and sex-crimes investigations. He began publishing with nonfiction books such as Curbchek, StreetCreds, Hero to Zero, Landed on Black, and I Am Raymond Washington, focusing on true crime, police culture, and urban history. He later expanded into fiction with the action-thriller Director series and the science-fiction Overseer series.
