Zoë Svendsen is a British theatre director, dramaturg, and academic whose writing focuses on theatre-making, dramaturgy, and the political possibilities of performance. She is the author of Theatre and Dramaturgy and has created participatory theatre and installation projects addressing climate crisis, consumer capitalism, and other contemporary political subjects. She has worked with institutions including the National Theatre, Young Vic, Globe, and Royal Shakespeare Company, and lectures in drama and performance at the University of Cambridge.
