Richard Levesque began writing in college, publishing work in college journals while studying at Cal Poly Pomona. After earning a Ph.D. from UC Riverside, where his dissertation focused on Hollywood novelists of the 1920s and 1930s, he returned to fiction writing while teaching English at Fullerton College. He primarily writes speculative science fiction, often blending futuristic concepts with early-Hollywood, Los Angeles, noir, and historical themes.
