David Gaider is a Canadian writer and narrative designer best known for creating the world of BioWare’s Dragon Age series. He began his writing career at BioWare in 1999, contributing to role-playing games including Baldur’s Gate II, Neverwinter Nights, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, before serving as lead writer and world designer for Dragon Age. He also wrote the Dragon Age novels The Stolen Throne, The Calling, and Asunder, as well as related graphic novels.
