Peter S. Rush is a Brown University graduate with a master’s degree in creative writing from the University of Florida. After working as a newspaper reporter and magazine editor, serving in the Peace Corps, and working as a police officer, he began writing fiction. His debut novel, Wild World, draws on his experiences as a student and police officer and was followed by Young Americans, a hard-boiled crime novel set in the 1970s.
