Joseph R. Lallo is an indie author from Bayonne, New Jersey, who earned a master’s degree in computer engineering from NJIT and initially worked in information technology. In January 2010, friends encouraged him to publish a story he had developed over a decade; that work became The Book of Deacon trilogy and a surprise success. He subsequently became a full-time author, writing multiple fantasy and science-fiction series, including Big Sigma, Free-Wrench, Greater Lands, and The Book of Deacon.
