Her essays and reporting have appeared in The New Yorker, Columbia Journalism Review, The Iowa Review, and other literary and journalism publications. She holds an MFA from the University of Iowa and is the author of Aging Out, a reported memoir about caregiving, aging, and eldercare in America.
