Carolyn Jessop is an American author best known for the memoir Escape, co-written with Laura Palmer, which recounts her life in the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and her 2003 escape with her eight children. She followed it with Triumph: Life After the Cult, a Survivor's Lessons, an autobiographical sequel about rebuilding her life, speaking publicly about the FLDS, and overcoming trauma.
