Mel Dau, also known as Melvin’s Daughter, was born in Vicenza, Italy, and raised in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She began her professional writing career in 2018 with A Charleston Love Story: Khiaere and Phy, followed by fifteen Amazon Top-25 titles under Queens of Lit Presents. After publishing her first bestseller, Pet the Kitty, in 2020, she founded Mel Dau Publications, LLC and expanded into audiobooks. Known as the “Queen of Informational Dramas,” she writes fiction designed to entertain, encourage, and educate.
