Carole Buggé, who writes as Carole Lawrence, C.E. Lawrence, and Elizabeth Blake, is an author of mystery and thriller fiction. She created the Ian Hamilton mystery series and has also written the Jane Austen Society, Lee Campbell, and Claire Rawlings series, as well as Cleopatra's Dagger. Her short fiction has appeared in anthologies, and her plays and musicals have been produced in New York and at the Kennedy Center.
