Nicholas Meyer is an American author, screenwriter, producer, and director whose writing career spans more than five decades. He is best known for The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, a bestselling Sherlock Holmes pastiche that won the British Crime Writers’ Association’s Gold Dagger, and for his subsequent Holmes novels, including Sherlock Holmes and the Real Thing. He has also written other fiction, memoir, and screenplays, including work associated with the Star Trek films.
