Ned Beauman (born 1985) is a British novelist, journalist, and screenwriter who studied philosophy at the University of Cambridge. He began his career writing for publications including Dazed & Confused, The Guardian, and the Financial Times, and has published novels including Boxer, Beetle, The Teleportation Accident, Glow, Madness Is Better Than Defeat, and Venomous Lumpsucker. His work has been translated into more than ten languages, and he was named one of Granta’s Best Young British Novelists in 2013.
