Dot Hutchison is an American author whose writing spans young adult fiction and adult suspense. She began publishing with A Wounded Name, a young adult novel inspired by Shakespeare’s Hamlet, and gained wider recognition with The Butterfly Garden, the first book in her psychological thriller series The Collector. She also wrote The Roses of May, The Summer Children, The Vanishing Season, and the standalone thriller Deadly Waters.
